The magnificent time of the year is back and it’s also that time of the year when we get to enjoy breakfast in the desert to lunch in the park to barbeque with friends and family – outdoors it is all the way. Here are our top picks to head out for a fun family day this winter.
Picnic by the Beach:
By now you know our love for the beach is no secret. And why not, beach is the perfect spot for a fun day and light on the pocket (budget friendly). So this winter, head with a basket full of yummy goodies to the beach and enjoy a quiet afternoon brunch with friends and family by the shore. While elders can enjoy food and endless banter, kids can run around the beach, build sand castles, take a swim or simply splash around. Some experiences are priceless and this sure tops the list of one such experiences.
Picnic at the Desert:
Living in the desert land, simply means we say yes to a beautiful desert picnic during winters (if possible every winter). Out in the nature with blankets laid out, basket full of goodies and the barbeque being set up – there is something fairytailish about this whole picnic in the desert experience. There is no shortage of places to choose from. And the best part, kids and pets get to run around in the dunes and have a fun day out exploring the desert terrains.
Fun Friday Picnic Brunches:
Don’t want to go through the hassle of cooking and cleaning all in the name of heading out for picnic. Then you are in luck mommy, as many restaurants in Dubai offer picnic style brunches during the cooler months. Everything here is set up for you from soft blankets, play areas, to amazing food and drinks, entertainment and much more. Places we love going to – Reform Social and Grill, Irish Village, Urban Picnic at Vida Hotel, and The Picnic Pantry at Crowne Plaza.Picnic at the Parks:
We talk about picnics and not have parks in the list – well, you guessed it right, the beautiful parks in Dubai are the perfect spot to enjoy a day out.
